Arriving with a bullet lodged in her skull, young Esia needed time to recover both physically and mentally from her tragic start in life. She is a Sooty Mangabey (Cercocebus atys)! Just look at those eyes—she could melt anyone’s heart! She’s already won over many of our caregivers and volunteers. It’s hard to resist her cheeky little face, especially when you see how much she thrives in the bush!
